I am dedicating this page to the Aussie Probyans, the loyal fans of PJ Proby. PJ has many pages on the internet dedicated to him, this page is for his loyal Aussie Probyans. I have always liked PJ Proby’s music and his link with Bobby & Laurie in the 60’s, made him very special.. It wasn’t until Leanne Thomas and Tony Priest made contact with me through my webpage that my interest in PJ was revised. Leanne provided me with some material for my webpage and then Tony kindly invited me to join their little group of followers at the Melbourne concert that PJ did in 2004. I took up that invitation and met the greatest bunch of people anyone could wish to meet and was treated to one of the best shows I have ever seen, PJ Proby was absolutely amazing. These Aussie Probians well I think PJ Proby is ever so lucky to have these guys supporting him. Tony, Jacquie, Leanne & Lee went to every Australian concert within Australia in 2004, covering Queensland, NSW and Melbourne, now that is the type of fans every artist would like to have and I am sure if there had have been more concerts they would have been there. I feel honoured to have been invited to be a member of the Aussie Probyans, I am a lucky girl. So Probyans this page is for you, please feel free to email me with maybe your favourite photo or just a little thought about PJ, a favourite moment, you just never know he may even wander in here one day When you think about it PJ Proby is one of the few living legends we have left….lets tell the world. Tony & Jacquie Priest recently went on the trip around Ireland Scotland and Wales and was lucky enough to spend some time with PJ while they were there, invited by PJ himself, PJ told them of his memories of Bobby & Laurie and how he met up with Bobby again during the 2004 tour.. And to think that they thought of me, getting PJ to sign a card for me, well I am over-whelmed. PJ certainly does have beautiful followers, Thank you so much Jacquie & Tony, I just wish PJ would come back to Aus. so we the Aussie Probyans could all meet up again….
