1971  Country Town Has Young Theme. Johnny Young’s theme music for the Australian movie Country Town has been recorded by Bobby Bright and is to be released as a single. The tune is titled Country Town and Bright will sing it at the start and end of the movie. Country Town stars many of the cast of the ABC-TV series Bellbird, including Terry McDermott, Gary Gray, Lyn Curran, Gerda Nicholson, Stella Lamond, Maurie Fields, Frank Rich, Rosie Sturgess and Sue Parsons.

1973 March.. At The Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne and Sydney Randwick Racecourse, 30,000 people witnessed a performance of Tommy- described as electrifying, at the end the audience rose to their feet.

The cast….Graham Bell the Narrator, Wendy Saddington as the nurse, Jim Keays as the lover, Broderick Smith as the father, Colleen Hewitt as the mother, Doug Parkinson as the hawker, Linda George as Acid Queen, Daryl Braithwaite as Tommy, Ross Wilson as Cousin Kevin, Keith Moon as Uncle Ernie, Billy Thorpe as the local lad and Bobby Bright as the doctor.
